Common questions

How much roof space do I need?

About 100 square feet of shade-free roof per kilowatt. A typical 3 kW home system needs around 300 square feet.

Will solar work during power cuts?

A standard grid-connected system shuts down during a power cut for safety. To keep power during outages you need a battery with a hybrid inverter.

How much will I save?
